Copper nickel pipes are usually made of 90% copper and 10% nickel (or 70/30 types), with iron and manganese for enhanced corrosion resistance. They offer tensile strength of 300–500 MPa and outstanding seawater, stress corrosion cracking, and biofouling resistance. Copper nickel pipes are non-magnetic, heat-conductive, and exhibit good ductility and strength. They perform exceptionally well under marine conditions and weld or braise easily, making them suited for submerged or offshore installations.
