Super Duplex Steel Tubes are generally made up of ~25% Chromium, 6–8% Nickel, and 3–4% Molybdenum, with the addition of nitrogen for additional strength as well as corrosion resistance. They provide excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of approximately 800 MPa, yield strength of ~550 MPa, and elongation of 25%, which qualify them for high-stress conditions. These tubes exhibit fine resistance against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, even in chloride-rich environments.
