Copper Nickel Tubing consists mainly of 90% copper and 10% nickel, supplemented by minute proportions of iron and manganese to add strength and corrosion resilience. It provides tensile strength of 50–70 ksi (345–480 MPa), yield strength of 20–40 ksi (140–275 MPa), and elongation of 40–50%. Its major benefits are superior resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling, and stress cracking, and good weldability and thermal conductivity. Moreover, its durability, anti-fouling characteristics, and capability to operate in high-pressure conditions make it a suitable option for the marine and chemical industries.
