Duplex Steel Seamless Pipes consist of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, having 18–28% chromium, 3–7% nickel, up to 5% molybdenum, and nitrogen for added strength. The combination provides greater corrosion, pitting, and stress resistance. With up to 620 MPa tensile strength and approximately 450 MPa yield strength, duplex steel is highly durable in high-temperature, high-pressure conditions. Major benefits are resistance to stress corrosion cracking, lower weight loss, and higher cost-effectiveness over traditional austenitic stainless steels, making them a perfect choice for tough applications involving both strength and corrosion resistance.
