Stainless Steel 201 Tubing is an austenitic alloy made up of chromium, nickel, and manganese, containing about 16–18% chromium, 3.5–5.5% nickel, and 5.5–7.5% manganese. It boasts impressive mechanical properties, including moderate tensile strength, hardness, and excellent formability. This alloy offers decent corrosion resistance in mildly acidic and atmospheric conditions. Some of the perks of Stainless Steel 201 Tubing are its lower cost compared to higher-nickel grades, good weldability, and strong resistance to wear and abrasion. It’s a reliable choice for both structural and decorative applications where strength and aesthetics are key.
